  • What is DarkWorld IRC?
 DarkWorld IRC is a global, community-driven IRC network offering secure, fast, and reliable channels for chatting, gaming, and collaborative projects.
  • How do I connect to DarkWorld IRC?
 You can connect using any standard IRC client. For instructions, see DWIRC:How to Connect. Default host: irc.darkworld.network.
  • Which servers should I connect to?
 Use the default host for automatic fastest connection or select a specific server closer to your location. See DWIRC:Servers for the full server list.
  • Is DarkWorld IRC free to use?
 Yes, all basic IRC features are free for all users.

Accounts & Services

  • How do I register my nickname?
 Use NickServ:  
 /msg NickServ REGISTER <password> <email>

  • How do I recover a lost or stolen nickname?
 Use NickServ’s RECOVER and IDENTIFY commands. Full guide: DWIRC:NickServ.
  • How do I manage my channel?

  • Can I get a custom host or vHost?

Connection & Technical Questions

  • Which ports are available?
 - Non-SSL: 6667  
 - SSL/TLS: 6697

  • Why should I use SSL/TLS?
 SSL/TLS encrypts your connection, enhancing security and preventing eavesdropping. Guide: DWIRC:SSL Guide.
  • What IRC clients are compatible?
 Any standard IRC client (HexChat, mIRC, irssi, WeeChat, TheLounge, etc.) is compatible.
  • Why am I sometimes disconnected?
 Disconnections may occur due to network instability, idle timeouts, or client misconfigurations. Using SSL/TLS and a stable client helps prevent this.
  • Does DarkWorld IRC support IPv6?
 Yes, all servers provide both IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity. See DWIRC:Servers.
