DWShells - Terms & Rules
Welcome to DWShells — a free and community-powered shell service from the DarkWorld IRC Network.
Eligibility for a Free Shell Account[edit]
- You must be an active user on the DarkWorld IRC network.
- Your nickname must be registered and in regular use. Type
/msg NickServ help registerin your IRC client to get started. - We require users to stay active in the network channels and engage with the community. Logging in once and disappearing may result in account termination.
The goal of DWShells is to build a strong, interactive, and helpful open community. Abuse, idling without engagement, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Signup Process[edit]
- Join the network at
irc.darkworld.networkusing SSL (port 6697). - Register your nickname with NickServ if not already done.
- Say hello in
#DWShellsand let us know you're interested in a shell. - Tell us what you plan to use the shell for and how you'll be a part of the community.
- Once you're verified and active, a shell admin will guide you through the setup.
- During shell creation, you will be automatically subscribed to our updates and service news. Learn more at https://darkworld.network/subscribe-to-darkworld/.
Account Rules[edit]
- No illegal activity, port scanning, DDoS tools, spam scripts, or any abusive software.
- Resource usage (CPU, memory) must remain fair and respectful to other users.
- You must stay connected to the DarkWorld IRC network. Inactive users may lose access.
- Your nickname must remain registered and identified during use.
- Respect others. Toxicity, harassment, or hate speech leads to instant ban.
