These are general rules and guidelines for network Admin & Operators to act & take actions in the light of these guidlines. These rules also provide protection to users & channel owners against any abuse by netadmins & opers.

OPERS Guidelines:

ADMINS Guidelines:

  • General guidelines for Network Operators are also for Net-Admins, so all network admins should also follow Operator’s guidelines.
  • Every net admin should intimate in advance to network staff & over network with an announcement regarding upgrade/update/maintenance of server & its estimate downtime.
  • Net Admins are not allowed to give themselves flags (QOP/SOP/AOP/VOP) over Users Owned Channels or Network channels by using their powers.
  • Net-Admins are not allowed to GLINE/KLINE/KILL any user for personal reasons.
  • If any admin does these things will be considered as an abuse of power, action can be taken in this regard by network management.
  • Addition of a new Operator by any net-admin over its server should first consult with other net-admins. If any net-admin have objection, then voting can be done to solve this matter.
  • Every Operator must have a Sponsor Admin. If Sponsor admin decides to un-sponsor /remove the operator from its server, then other admins have the option to sponsor/add that Operator over their server by following the preceding rule of no objection by other net admins.
  • If there is any matter that admins are unable to get guideline from rules can be discussed in #Management channel over network.
