HostServ
HostServ allows users to request custom hostnames (vHosts) for privacy and community identity.
1. Eligibility
- Users must have a confirmed NickServ account.
- Hostnames must not:
- Imitate official staff or network services
- Include offensive or misleading content
All requests are reviewed by staff and typically logged for auditing purposes.
Commands
| Command | Purpose | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| HELP | Displays help information for HostServ commands. | /msg HostServ HELP
|
| ON / OFF | Activates or deactivates your assigned vHost.
When activated, your vHost will be visible to others instead of your real IP address. |
/msg HostServ ON/msg HostServ OFFAlternative Method: |
| REQUEST | Allows users to request a custom virtual host (vHost) to mask their real IP address.
Requests are reviewed by network administrators. |
/msg HostServ REQUEST desired.vhost.example.com
