BotServ
BotServ allows founders to assign and manage service bots in registered channels.
1. Assignment & Eligibility
- Only registered founders may assign a bot to their channel.
- Channels marked NOBOT are excluded from bot usage.
2. Configuration & Moderation
Bots may be configured with:
- Automated kickers (e.g., caps, flood, repeat, bad words)
- Custom greet messages
- Channel logging (if enabled)
Note: Abuse of BotServ for spam or harassment is strictly forbidden.
Commands
| Command | Purpose | Usage |

| HELP | Displays help information for BotServ commands. | /msg BotServ HELP
|
| ASSIGN | Assigns a bot to a channel. | /msg BotServ ASSIGN #channel BotNick
|
| UNASSIGN | Unassigns a bot from a channel. | /msg BotServ UNASSIGN #channel
|
| SAY | Makes the bot send a message to a channel. | /msg BotServ SAY #channel Message
|
| ACT | Makes the bot perform an action (equivalent to /me).
|
/msg BotServ ACT #channel ActionText
|
| BOTLIST | Lists all available bots on the network. | /msg BotServ BOTLIST
|
| INFO | Displays information about a bot or a channel’s assigned bot. | /msg BotServ INFO #channel/msg BotServ INFO BotNick
|
| SET FANTASY | Enables or disables fantasy commands (e.g., !op, !kick) in a channel.
|
/msg BotServ SET #channel FANTASY ON/msg BotServ SET #channel FANTASY OFF
|
| SET NOBOT | Prevents bots from being assigned to a channel. | /msg BotServ SET #channel NOBOT ON/msg BotServ SET #channel NOBOT OFF
|
| SET PRIVATE | Restricts a bot from being assigned to channels by users without appropriate privileges. | /msg BotServ SET BotNick PRIVATE ON/msg BotServ SET BotNick PRIVATE OFF
|
| BOT ADD (Oper Only) |
Adds a new bot to the network. | /msg BotServ BOT ADD BotNick BotUser BotHost BotRealName
|
| BOT CHANGE (Oper Only) |
Modifies an existing bot’s details. | /msg BotServ BOT CHANGE OldNick NewNick [NewUser [NewHost [NewRealName]]]
|
| BOT DEL (Oper Only) |
Deletes a bot from the network. | /msg BotServ BOT DEL BotNick
