The DarkWorld IRC Network is the foundation upon which the community was built. It operates a global cluster of servers distributed across multiple continents for performance and reliability.

Users can connect using the main entry point:

irc.darkworld.network

The system automatically routes you to the nearest or least-loaded hub. Alternatively, users may connect directly to a regional server such as:

The network runs on UnrealIRCd (as the IRC daemon) and Anope Services for authentication, NickServ, ChanServ, and bot management.

DarkWorld’s infrastructure is distributed across multiple regions with dedicated IPv6 and IPv4 connectivity. All services are containerized and managed through secure automation scripts ensuring high uptime, stability, and isolation between user environments.

• Reverse-proxied HTTPS gateways for web-based services
• Automated SSL/TLS management via Let’s Encrypt
• PostgreSQL and MariaDB-backed authentication systems
