Relay Bots are specialized bots used to link multiple IRC channels across networks or servers. They allow seamless message forwarding, synchronized communication, and multi-network bridging.
Relay Bots on the DarkWorld Network ensure stability, security, and high-performance message routing.
📌 What Are Relay Bots?
Relay bots provide:
- Cross-network message mirroring
- Multi-channel synchronization
- Joins, parts, quits, and nick-change forwarding
- /me action forwarding
- Optional network or channel tags
- Loop protection
- Flood control
- Color/format filtering (configurable by staff)
Common use cases:
- Multi-language communities
- Cross-project coordination

🔗 DWRelay (Official Relay System)
DWRelay is the official relay system maintained by DarkWorld Network. It bridges channels across different IRC networks for cross-network communication.

⚠️ Rules & Restrictions
To keep relays safe:
- No abusive relay usage
- Do not modify relay bot settings
- No forcing relays between hostile networks
- Only staff may disable/reset relay configurations
- Staff may remove relays without notice if misuse occurs
🧭 Tips
- Use SSL on all networks for stability
- Avoid many bots inside relayed channels
- Keep both channel sides consistent with modes (+nrt)
- You can request formatting removal if preferred
