DWBouncers/Clients/Quassel Setup Guide
This page explains how to configure DWBouncers/Clients/Quassel to connect with DWBouncers (ZNC or Soju).
Requirements
To connect, you must have a valid DWBouncers account (available through either ZNC or Soju).
🌐 Server Information
👤 Username Format
- For ZNC:
username/network
- For Soju:
username
🔑 Password
Use the assigned password you received when your DWBouncers account was created.
If you lost your password, request a reset in #DWBouncers.
Connection Settings

Step-by-Step Setup
- Open DWBouncers/Clients/Quassel.
- Make sure you have your ZNC account details:
- Server:
bouncers.darkworld.network - Port:
31337and enable SSL. - Username:
username - Password: your assigned DWBouncers password.
- Open the Quassel IRC Client on your computer.
- When prompted with the Connect to Core window:
Click Add Core Account or Manage Core Accounts → Add.
- In the connection setup form, enter your ZNC information:
Hostname:bouncers.darkworld.networkPort:31337Use SSL: ✅ (check this box) Username:usernamePassword:username/darkworld:password
- Click Connect to proceed.
Quick Connect Command
you can quickly connect to your DWBouncers ZNC using:
/server -m bouncers.darkworld.network +31337 Username/darkworld:password
Notes:
-mforces SSL mode+31337means SSL port- Replace Username with your assigned ZNC username
- Replace password with your ZNC password
Username/darkworld= auto-connect to the DarkWorld network module
