🔄 DWBouncers: Keep System
To maintain your ZNC account on the DarkWorld Network, you must follow the rules and keep your account active. This page explains how the Keep System works and what you must do to avoid automatic removal.
🔐 How the Keep System Works
DarkWorld uses an automated system to ensure only active, legitimate users keep their ZNC accounts.
1. Activity Requirement
You must type:
!keep user
in #DWBouncers at least once every 2 weeks.
This confirms you are an active user and want to keep your ZNC account.
2. If You Do Not Use !keep
If you fail to confirm within the required time:
- Your account may be flagged as inactive*
- Your ZNC may be scheduled for removal
- Data such as buffers, settings, and passwords may be deleted
- Re-requesting a new ZNC will require full verification again
3. Why !keep Exists
The keep system helps:
- Prevent abandoned accounts
- Protect against account sharing
- Ensure resources go to active users
- Reduce load on the ZNC servers
- Maintain overall network integrity
