✉️ How to Request a ZNC Account

To get your own bouncer connection through DWBouncers, follow these simple steps. Please refer to the setup details on DWBouncers/Clients and the main overview on DWBouncers for full instructions and client compatibility.

1. Choose Your Plan

DWBouncers offers two ZNC service types:

  • Free ZNC – Basic features, no payment required.
  • Support ZNC – Enhanced features and priority support.

Choose the tier that best fits your needs.

2. Submit the Request

1. Join the IRC channel: #DWBouncers on the network. 2. Use the request command:

  !request your_username your_email

3. Include the following:

 • Desired username
 • A valid email address (required for credentials + recovery)

4. Staff will review your request manually.

3. After Submitting

  • Stay connected or active in #DWBouncers — offline or idle users may be skipped.
  • Once approved, you will receive:
 • ZNC Host & Port
 • Username & Password
 • WebAdmin URL (for browser login)

After that, set up your IRC client using the details provided. See client tutorials at DWBouncers/Clients.

4. Activation & Usage

  • Connect to your assigned host using:
 SSL 31337
 username/network:password
  • Configure NickServ identify, auto-join channels, and personal preferences.
  • Use WebAdmin to manage modules, networks, and session settings.

🛡️ Guidelines & Policy

  • Usernames or vHosts must not impersonate staff or Services.
  • Offensive or misleading hostnames will be rejected.
  • Abuse of the ZNC service may result in suspension.
  • Support tier users receive enhanced features depending on their plan.
