PurrGuard is a multi-network IRC bot used in DarkWorld channels across multiple IRC networks, providing channel protection, moderation, user information, and administrative utilities.

PurrGuard is deployed in official DarkWorld channels across supported IRC networks to provide consistent protection and moderation assistance wherever DarkWorld maintains a presence.

The bot is designed to operate across different IRC networks while respecting network-specific identities, channel permissions, and administrative boundaries.

PurrGuard assists authorized DarkWorld operators and channel administrators with maintaining safe and orderly DarkWorld channels without extending DarkWorld authority beyond the channels and permissions granted on each network.

Main Features

Multi-Network Channel Protection

PurrGuard is designed to operate across multiple IRC networks while maintaining network-aware information and moderation behavior.

This allows DarkWorld channels on different networks to receive consistent protection while respecting the rules, permissions, identities, and administrative boundaries of each individual network.

PurrGuard's presence on another IRC network does not grant DarkWorld authority outside the channels and permissions provided to it on that network.

Anti-Spam Protection

PurrGuard provides automated anti-spam protection for supported DarkWorld channels.

The bot can detect configured forms of unwanted or abusive activity and apply appropriate protective actions when necessary.
